Gym Owner
Coach Lauren started her gymnastics journey at the age of 3 when she began swinging on every railing she could find. After beginning a formal gymnastics program, she progressed to compete for X-cel Gymnastics of Pittsburgh as a level 10 gymnast. She then moved on to the collegiate level as a member of the NC State gymnastics team. After graduating from college with a degree in Business she discovered she had a love and art for teaching children. She earned a Master’s of Education from the University of Southern California & taught 3rd grade at Mary Scroggs Elementary School in the CHCCS school district.
It is her love of gymnastics, physical activity, teaching and children that inspired the idea to begin a kids gym of her own to help children grow their bodies and minds.
Lauren lives in Briar Chapel with her husband, Chris, her kiddos, Jace & Zoeigh, & fur babies (Great Dane puppy, KING, and Rottweiler, Hank).
Coach Alexis-
Gym Manager
Coach Alexis joined The Kid’s Gym Team in October, 2019. She is now our Gym Manager & Director of Intermediate Gymnastics. She works hard to ensure that we continue to meet the high standards that we strive for in our classes, coaches & facility!
In addition to all that she does at the Gym, Alexis is part of the Century 21 Real Estate Team! Reach out to her with any real estate needs…she will put in the work you are hoping for!
